Castlegar Thai Boxing Club was established in 2009  .  The club trains primarily in Muay Thai and also K1 kickboxing and has fighters from Amatuer level to A Class Pro who since 2009 have fought for Irish, European and World titles.

The club is coached by Mr. Don Naughton and Mr. Gedas Paskauskas both former fighters and experienced and fully qualified coaches.
